Patch 14.1 Unleashes Scary Crabs in Teamfight Tactics

The introduction of the Crab Rave portal in Patch 14.1 in Teamfight Tactics has left players distressed as the in-game Scuttle Crabs transform from being docile creatures into invincible beasts, leaving players in massive destruction.

The Scuttle Crabs, known to be the most docile beings in the entire Universe of League of Legends, have seen a new power surge in them. They are usually seen pacing leisurely around the river, invariably finding themselves to be the easy hunt for a gold-thirsty jungler looking to bump up their XP count.

This non-aggression of the Scuttle Crabs is peculiarly noticeable in the Teamfight Tactics. In this realm, the crabs seem simply incapable to put up a fight against the army of players. This ends in multiple poor creatures falling victims to the insatiable need for loots among players.

This brutal cash-grab through the wholesale slaughter of the Scuttle Crabs at the Scuttle Puddle portal has not faced much outcry. On the contrary, it is particularly cherished among players as a source of unchecked income flow.

However, with Patch 14.1 unleashed in the Teamfight Tactics, the tables have turned massively. The opening of the Crab Rave portal has ignited a rebellion of Scuttle Crabs. The result of which turned out to be quite devastating for the TFT community, especially come stage 5.

To appreciate the sheer magnitude of damage the Scuttle Crabs can muster, one has to lay eyes on the stage 5 of the Crab Rave portal. Here, the normally docile Scuttle Crab morphs into a gigantic behemoth. It dishes out hefty amounts of damage against any players unfortunate enough to come across them.

To take on such a beast and emerge victoriously is a colossal task. It requires a robust team of fully equipped units, each of their members operating optimally. This massive challenge proved herculean even to the lead designer of Teamfight Tactics, Riot Mortdog.

To make matters worse, the reward for conquering these supersized crabs is not in vain. The amount of gold and items that defeating a Scuttle Crab can yield is staggeringly high. This makes taking on the crabs a crucial bloodbath for the players.

But it's not as simple as it sounds. Not all players can achieve this feat. While a successful takedown of a crab means a treasure trove of gold, the failure to do so can result in item forfeiture and potential damage. The damage is so colossal, it could potentially mean game over, as the TFT streamer k3soju recently discovered to his detriment.

With the power balance completely upset by the Scuttle Crabs becoming so formidable, players are left with their skills and wit to weather the onslaught. The question remains whether Riot is considering any alterations to the significant power increase granted to the Scuttle Crab. If not, the players need to gear up to face the next big challenge in Stage 5.
