Future Prospects

A Veteran Player

As one of the most seasoned top laners in Europe, Wunder has an impressive record. He was part of the G2 team that swept Team Liquid to win the Mid-Season Invitational in 2019. Following his four-year tenure with G2, Wunder joined Fnatic, substituting Adam ‘Adam’ Maanane in the top lane. In his initial year with Fnatic, the team secured the third position in both LEC splits and made it to the group stage at Worlds. However, problems the following year resulted in a ninth-place finish in the Winter split and Hansen's eventual benching.

Navigating Future Options

"While my hope is to stay in the LEC," he commented, "I am not ruling out other options. I hold the belief that a select few North American teams are worth joining, and Cloud9 is among them." He also added that he envisages top-tier NA teams as counterparts to some European teams and would only consider teams below that tier as a last resort to make a name for himself in NA.

Even as he deliberates on his gaming future, the e-sports world and his growing fan base will be keenly following the moves of this seasoned luminary.
