Knock allows players to skip a major Act 2 challenge in Baldur’s Gate 3
Baldur’s Gate 3 offers players a multitude of spell options from Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition. While spells like Fireball and Misty Step are widely recognized as powerful tools, one player is making a case for the underrated spell Knock.
Opening New Possibilities
A Reddit user, in a co-op playthrough with their girlfriend, shared how Knock helped them bypass a tricky section of Act 2. The duo was struggling to find the trials and wasn't strong enough to fight. They decided to use Knock on the final door and were pleasantly surprised when it opened without any issues, allowing them to proceed with the game.
A Versatile Spell
Knock is a versatile spell that can open any mundane lock, making it useful for doors and chests. While brute force and other spells like Fireball can also break down doors, Knock can open doors that can't be accessed through other means.
This high-quality spell is often overlooked, but its ability to overcome a major challenge highlights the freedom and possibilities in Baldur's Gate 3.
